Christina's Bridal Shower Open house
in lieu of reception
April 2014

Beautiful day for a backyard bridal shower! Christina and Matt are getting married May 9, 2014.  They will be getting Married in the Salt Lake City Temple. They will not be having two receptions for each home town due to cost. So a bridal shower open house was the next best thing. Most of the decorations were DIY projects.

"Pin Marriage Advice" Christina and Matt received some great advice. They plan on hanging this Chicken wire pin~board with the marriage advice in their new home.

Strawberry Lemonade, Hawaiian Haystacks, Vanilla Cream Cupcakes, Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, and Chocolate Swirl Cookies for Lunch!

Homemade burlap triangle flags hung as decorations.

"Love is Sweet"

This homemade vintage chalkboard was made from an old thrift store purchase.  It hung just above the desserts.

Spray~painted paper lanterns Gold for Christina's color scheme!

Homemade Candy dishes for the Sweet's table. I ran out of time to actually buy pink colored candy to put in them, but they made a great decoration. Vases and Candle stick holders were found at a thrift store and painted white. Total cost was under $5. :)

Bridal Shower Runway!!
Bride, Groom, Bridesmaids, and Flower girl were all involved.

Pictures of the Couple's Engagements and Bridals were hung with cloths pins with twain.

and they lived happily ever after....

HOW TO TAKE A SILHOUETTE PICTURE?

1. Have your subject stand or sit straight, in profile, against a light colored background.

2. Position yourself right at their eye level, so that you are not looking up or down at them.

3. Make sure to include their entire head, shoulders and hair in the photo.

4. The subject should have a relaxed, natural expression on their face. *For girls, we recommend having their hair up in a bun or ponytail so that their neckline is visible.

5. If you want full body shots, they tend to work best when the arms and legs are visible, not held closely to the body.

6. If you want family shots, they work best with spacing between each person, i.e. holding hands with arms slightly extended. If you're holding a child make sure they are held up and out from your body, to insure there is definition between each person.
